A note from Caitlyn:

As a therapist I am privy to people’s most intimate, private lives. I understand how scary it can be to open up to someone. I want you to know that I hold all my clients in the highest regard, and I know each person has the ability to succeed and meet their goals with a helping hand. I believe in a systemic, collaborative approach to mental health. What goes on outside the therapy room is just as important as what goes on in the room. Therapy can be hard work, but I believe it is an empowering experience, worth the time and effort.

On a more personal note, I am married to my best friend and partner who has taught me how real and rewarding loving relationships can be. Couples therapy has been a healthy part of our relationship and has influenced me to pursue this field. My husband and I currently have three fur babies; two dogs and a cat. We hope to grow our family in the future! I enjoy spending my free time with my family and playing video games or watching shows with my husband. I am an avid reader and participate in a yearly reading challenge. My goal for 2019 is to read 60 books!

Becoming a therapist has reinforced my belief that I was meant to listen to, empathize with, and learn from others. We are all on this journey of life together, and I feel complete knowing that I am in the position to potentially help someone out of a situation they would like to change. After witnessing the life changing effects of the prenatal, birth and postpartum period, I feel specifically called to work with new parents and moms.

I look forward to working with you and your family during this transition in life!
